Report: Madoff Brags to Inmates of Secret $9 Billion Stash

Convicted Ponzi schemer Bernard Madoff reportedly funneled $9 billion to three people before going to prison.

Madoff told inmates at the Butner Federal Correction complex in North Carolina, where he is serving a life sentence, that his business partner Frank DiPascali knows who the recipients are of the money, the New York Post reported.

DiPascali pleaded guilty to 10 felonies last year related to the busted Ponzi scheme. He is awaiting sentencing.

The Post reports that Madoff, 72, suspects DiPascali, 52, has used the information to cut a better deal with federal authorities.

Madoff reportedly has no compassion for those he robbed of billions with his dishonest financial schemes.

“F--k my victims,” Madoff is said to have responded to a fellow inmate who criticized him for stealing from old ladies. “I carried them for 20 years, and now I’m doing 150 years,” New York magazine reported earlier this month.
