1. Top of the Hub is 52 floors up the Prudential Tower overlooking the city. A favorite restaurant among Bostoners and tourists, it offers views of the city skyline along with award-winning cuisine. You can listen to live jazz as well in the lounge.

2. The Union Oyster House on Union Street is America’s oldest restaurant, dating back to before the Revolution. The rich and the famous, from the Kennedys to Daniel Webster, have eaten here. Aside from the oyster bar, there are other seafood, salad, and sandwich dishes to enjoy.

4. Panificio Bistro and Bakery is one of the top restaurants in the Beacon Hill area. 5. Christina’s Homemade Ice Cream has become a landmark on Cambridge Street. Top local and national publications often recognize the shop for some 50 ice cream flavors that include ginger molasses and fresh rose. The inventive mixtures make Christina’s a popular spot in Inman Square, near Harvard and MIT.
