The fourth season of Bravo’s 'Real Housewives of New York City' has wrapped, but whether or not the show will return for a fifth lap remains to be seen, reports People
“The damage is done,” said Housewife Jill Zarin. “I don’t know if I can film with these girls.” Zarin sat down with People magazine in Bridgehampton, NY, to elaborate on that statement and to discuss feuds among the women, like hers with fellow housewife Ramona Singer.
On the show’s reunion episode on Monday, feelings bubbled to the surface as well as accusations of alcoholism between Jill and Ramona.
“During the reunion, [Ramona was] hitting below the belt. I tried to be a friend to Ramona. And I thought that she was acting a little bit erratic, more so than before. I was trying to help her and point it out,” Zarin said of trying to intervene in Singer’s alleged issue with alcohol.
“Jill, I really respect you. I think you’re a fabulous woman,” responded Singer. “I know at times you had problems. You went to AA. You had an alcohol problem. Just because you did doesn’t mean I do.”
Jill denied that she has ever struggled with alcohol addiction, and believes that outing someone as a member of Alcoholics Anonymous is unacceptable. “Whether it’s true or not is irrelevant,” Zarin said. “I really wanted to try to help her. And instead she tried to turn it around on me.”
