With his two companies, Storyline, a life-coaching service and StoryBrand, which a marketing agency, Donald Miller runs a busy life from his base in Nashville. The successful writer, speaker and mentor published his first book at the age of 21.

His 2003 bestseller, "Blue Like Jazz," was made into a movie of the same name released in 2012. As a founder of the Mentoring Project, Miller has done significant work to help children of fatherless homes across the nation.

4. Miller exchanged emails with now-President Barack Obama while he was still a senator for the state of Illinois.

5. When the movie version of "Blue Like Jazz" ran into financial trouble, the balance to complete the filming of the movie was raised in a Kickstarter campaign, according to The Atlantic.
