Michael Moore's Letter Wins Boxer

Not happy that he netted millions from his disastrous efforts to help the Democrats last year, Michael Moore is still whining about President Bush's victory.

Though President Bush may have won re-election by 3.5 million votes, getting a clear majority of the votes -- something even Bill Clinton could not do when he ran in 1992 and 1996 -- but super sore loser Michael Moore can't admit his side lost.

So Moore sent a letter to the U.S. Senate whining about Ohio where George Bush won by 118,000 votes.

Moore indicated he was seeking a member of the upper body to join a cabal of unhappy House Democrats who were challenging the certification of the President's well earned victory.

He apparently got that "unhappy member" in California Senator Barbara Boxer.

Conveniently claiming that "something isn't right in Ohio and more than a dozen members of the House of Representatives believe it is worth investigating," Moore explained that Rep. John Conyers of Detroit would rise on Thursday and object to the vote count in Ohio.

"According to the laws of this land, he will not be allowed to speak unless at least one of you -- one member of the United States Senate -- agrees to let him have the floor," Moore wrote.

California's liberal Sen. Barbara Boxer obliged Moore, thus throwing a monkey wrench in the certification process and delaying the inevitable by several hours.

Taking a leaf from Jesse Jackson's book, Moore wrote that Conyers "and a dozen other members of Congress have some serious questions about how the Republican secretary of state in Ohio (who was also the state’s co-chair of Bush’s reelection campaign) conducted the election on November 2.

"If you would like to read more about the specific charges, I ask that you read these two links: 'Senators Should Object to Ohio Vote' —by Jesse Jackson and 'Ten Preliminary Reasons Why the Bush Vote Does Not Compute, and Why Congress Must Investigate Rather Than Certify the Electoral College.' I am asking everyone on my mailing list to send you a letter joining me in this call to you to do your job and investigate what happened before you certify the vote."

With such sore losing and whining, Moore will certainly help the Republicans in 2008 as he did in 2004. Thank you Barbara Boxer for joining with Moore!
