Citizen Voter Act Aims to Curb Flood of Illegal Voters
Michael Savage
Monday, March 26, 2001
Dead men voting. Students casting multiple ballots. Multiple district registrations running rampant. Undocumented illegal aliens falsely certifying citizenship in order to register to vote. Stuffing ballot boxes with outright fraudulent ballots. Polling stations being held open past hours. Convicted felons boldly and illegally casting their votes. And the list goes on!

This is not a story about Latin America. This is the United States of America in the year 2001. From sea to shining sea our elections are riddled with fraud, corruption and scandal. Many of us, aware of the problems, and resentful of a two-party ticket, have simply avoided the polls. The latest census reports that as many as 11 million illegal aliens live in the U.S.

The Republican Party presidential candidate in the year 2000, George W. Bush, won by the skin of his teeth. The Democratic Party machine pulled out every trick they had in their armamentarium. They kicked, they screamed, they whined, they wailed, they connived and twisted the truth. In the end, we prevailed. But only just!

If liberal Democrats prevail, these illegals may be given amnesty and allowed to vote! This would allow them to equal the total population of 17 congressional districts!

Guess who's coming to a ballot near you in 2004? It's Hillary Clinton, and she aims to win! With her office in New York City (Bubba defended her grandiose acquisition: "Well, she has tens of thousands of volunteers and needs space for them") and her Democratic "White House" in Georgetown, Hillary has clearly set her sights on the biggest prize in the land. Why else would she need space for "tens of thousands" of volunteers?

More bad news: The current congressional redistricting effort is nothing more than political gerrymandering of racial quotas in specific districts to secure a Democratic majority in Congress. Our country is nothing more than a vast checkerboard to these "demon-cats," whose only goal is victory at any cost. It is the first time since the 1950s that the Republican Party has controlled the executive, the legislative and the judicial branches of our government, and the Democratic machine is gearing itself as we write these words to take back lost territory in the presidential contest of 2004.

What we must do in the three and one half years remaining is secure our perimeters. To uphold the voting laws of this country, add the following language to the voting legislation that already exists in each state of this country as follows:

Proposition: "Citizen Voter Act"

PROOF OF CITIZENSHIP IN THE FORM OF A NOTARIZED BIRTH CERTIFICATE, VALID U.S. PASSPORT OR NOTARIZED CITIZENSHIP PAPERS, ISSUED BY THE INS, MUST BE PRESENTED IN ORDER TO REGISTER TO VOTE AND RE-PRESENTED AT THE POLL IN ORDER TO CAST A VOTE.

With this enforcement modification, we are not proposing any change to existing law. We are suggesting that the law be enhanced by providing strict enforcement registration criteria, so that people not legally permitted to register to vote can no longer register to vote at will throughout our free land! And, once registered, our statute will provide for verification of identity at the polling place, at the time of actual ballot casting by the individual.

Voter fraud continues as a silent scandal. It's like cancer. It just keeps multiplying until it kills. The voting fraud problem has become so widespread and complicated, it seems an almost insoluble issue. Multiple legislative bodies fight over "how to make it right." With one legislator proposing Amendment "A" and another legislator proposing Amendment "B," the likelihood of sweeping reform legislation is pure fantasy. There are, in the state of California alone, more than 818 legislative proposals regarding overhauling the voting system. And, to be sure, the partisan efforts of the Democratic machine virtually insure that no significant election reform can take place.

Our enforcement clause does not suggest any changes or modifications to the laws. This is why we have a good chance of getting this proposition on the ballot, so We the People can case our vote in favor of the "Citizen Voter Act." What our enforcement clause does is provide the authorities with the added rule of proof. Individuals must prove they are citizens in order to register to vote. It will no longer be acceptable to merely state that you are a citizen in order to register, as is now the practice.

The problem has just ignited. We have, in this country, more than 11 million illegal aliens. They are not citizens, yet. However, the AFL-CIO recently reversed itself. Formerly opposed to amnesty for illegals on the grounds that illegals took American jobs away from American citizens, it has a new position. Based on sheer greed for shrinking pension dollars, Mr. Sweeney now favors amnesty for illegals residing in the United States! It seems Mr. Sweeney would like them all to become AFL-CIO members. Incredibly, our newly elected president thinks amnesty for illegals is a swell idea.

If we couple the newly minted Americans with the illegal voters, we surely will end up with a Democratic majority in the House, the Senate, and in the White House in 2004. And that means the Supreme Court. Remember Clarence Thomas? If you want to know just how important Clarence Thomas is for our nation, take a look at the past 10 major Supreme Court rulings, including the Florida ballot box issue. Without Justice Thomas, we would be looking at Goreleoni and Joey every day. The Democratic Party would rule forever, and the United States as we know it would cease to exist.

To begin this national campaign, we will need more than 673,000 valid California registered voter signatures to get our proposition on the ballot. We have the time, and we have the passion. We need your help. We need your commitment.

This is going to be a difficult and tedious campaign, but we know we will win. We will make a difference in the political landscape of our glorious nation. It is time to take back our country from party hacks and return it to the genuine patriots.

TAKE BACK AMERICA!
