Just as the presidential motorcade was making it’s way from the Capitol to the White House, Twitter users were frustrated by an apparent site crash.

Twitter’s own Status Blog, hosted on Tumblr, has referred to possible service issues for three hours with no update as of yet.

“Some users may be experiencing issues accessing Twitter,” the service’s webmasters wrote. “Our engineers are currently working to resolve the issue.”

Although some users appear to be able to get through to the service through its mobile apps, the website itself has not been reliably loading, as confirmed by downforeveryoneorjustme.com and downrightnow.com.
