Beach Boys singer Bruce Johnston prefers Ronald Reagan to the current crop of presidential nominees.

While signing autographs in New York yesterday, Johnston quipped “Obama is an a**hole,” according to video posted on TMZ.

“Unless you're interested in never having any money and being socialized."

He added, “Wait 'til Obama doesn’t have to try anymore. You're [expletive]. Trust me.”

Johnston went on to question, "And who's the Republican a**hole," referring to presumptive nominee Mitt Romney.

The surf band singer said that Reagan and Tip O'Neill, an outspoken, liberal former member of Congress, are the "last two good guys."
