While on a two-day fundraising trip to California, President Barack Obama's motorcade created chaos for Los Angeles motorists and allegedly prevented a pregnant pedestrian from crossing the street to the hospital, according to a local television station.

Robert Kovacik, a reporter for Los Angeles' NBC affiliate, managed to capture cellphone footage of a woman sitting at a bus stop bench and then posted it to his Instagram account accompanied by the caption, "Woman in labor on bench as motorcade passes; not allowed to cross street to get to #CedarsSinai."

Word of the incident spread quickly on social media and many bystanders began posting photos to the hashtag #ObamaBabyWatch, The Los Angeles Times reported.

One woman tweeted a photo of a KNBC reporter covering the baby drama.

Another hashtag — #ThanksObama — was created so Los Angeles residents could vent about the traffic disruptions, according to the Times.

According to the report, Kovacik questioned a Los Angeles police officer about when the woman would be allowed to cross the street.

"We'll be able to open it up for traffic and first thing we'll try to get to will be an ambulance, but I can't guarantee it will be …" the officer said before the 15-second video was cut short.

Several travel advisories were issued by the LA Police Department, according to KTLA-TV.

Obama was in town to mingle with donors who paid between $1,000 and $30,000 to attend a fundraiser at the home of Shonda Rhimes, the producer of the television hit "Scandal."

But he didn't appear to be sweating out the chaos he caused in Los Angeles — or the chaos swirling around the world.

"This is the most relaxed I've ever seen him," one guest at the Rhimes' fundraiser told The Hollywood Reporter.
