President Barack Obama’s new “Fatherhood Buzz” initiative to inspire responsible fathers has taken an ironic twist as the commander in chief forgot to pay for his meal after a kick off lunch, reports ABC News.

The president had a lunch that consisted of pork ribs, collard greens, red beans and rice, and cornbread, with two active duty soldiers and two local barbers at Kenny’s BBQ on Capitol Hill in Washington, D.C.

The group discussed, among other things, what it means to be a father.

The bill for the group of five came out to be $55.58, but was left unpaid, according to pool reports.

The White House had corrected the faux pas and settled the tab by the end of business Wednesday.

Whether they left a tip is unclear.
