The Rev. Billy Graham has released his latest message to America, posting the 30-minute "My Hope America" video special hours before his 95th birthday party.

Graham has worked with a video crew over the past year to record his personal message in a program called "The Cross,"  which can be viewed online and will be televised on Fox News Channel at 10 p.m. ET on Thursday and on nearly 500 other stations in the days ahead.

The video is the culmination of the "My Hope America with Billy Graham Project," the largest ever outreach conducted by the Billy Graham Evangelistic Association in North America, with more than 25,000 churches taking part and sharing DVD's of "The Cross" with congregants, reports the Asheville Citizen Times.

The program features old clips of Graham during various appearances around the world along with recent segments shot at his Montreat, N.C. home.

"What I like about it, it's like your grandfather or your father talking to you in the living room, where we're used to seeing Billy Graham standing behind a pulpit in a large stadium preaching," Franklin Graham, Billy's son and the CEO of the BGEA, told the Citizen Times.

"Here is sort of a grandfather figure, talking to you from a chair. I think it's extremely effective and very powerful," he added.

Associate Pastor Dwight Parrish of Trinity Baptist Church in West Asheville agreed, telling the newspaper that his staff watched "The Cross" on Wednesday morning.

"There were tears watching the video, it was so moving," Parrish said. "He's still got it, and he's fluid. The message has not changed in 60 years. It's still the same message: that Christ can change a person's life."

Franklin Graham said that despite some health troubles, his father is in good spirits and still works most days.

"I'm just surprised God left him here as long as He has, and I'm glad He has," he told the Times. "I think this message he's giving in this film…it'll be his last message to our country. At 95, I'm just glad he's still able to talk to us."
