Secretary of State Hillary Clinton says she doesn’t plan to run for president in 2016, but she leaves open the opportunity.

In an interview with ABC’s Barbara Walters set to air Wednesday night, Clinton explains, “I’ve said I really don’t believe that that’s something I will do again. I am so grateful I had the experience of doing it before. I think there are lots of ways to serve, so I’ll continue to serve,” The Hill reports.

Clinton says she’s ready to try something different. “I just want to see what else is out there. I’ve been doing this incredibly important and satisfying work in Washington for 20 years. I want to get out and spend some time looking at what else I can do to contribute.”

When Walters asked if age would be a concern for Clinton, given that she will be 69 in 2016, the former first lady said no. “It really isn’t. I’m thankfully, knock on wood, not only to be healthy but to have incredible stamina and energy.”
