The case of the Tsarnaev brothers, the alleged perpetrators of the Boston Marathon bombing, is symptomatic of the porous borders and immigration policies that make it easy for terrorists to make their homes in the U.S., says Howie Carr.

Politicians and the media have refused to call last year's marathon attack an act of war, the first terrorist attack on American soil since 9/11, because not doing so makes it easier to avoid the larger problem, the Boston Herald columnist told John Bachman and J.D. Hayworth on "America's Forum" on Newsmax TV. Carr said that it's too easy for immigrants who want to come to the U.S. to apply for asylum.

"That gets back to the state-run media, as Rush Limbaugh calls it. Again, if you call them home-grown terrorists they're no different than that crazy redneck in Kansas City last weekend, right?," he said.

"They don't want to admit that they have this problem and the problem continues to grow when you basically have open borders and it's becoming more and more of a scam to claim political refugee status. Even Mexicans now know that that's the best way to do it, you say you have refugee status, they'll just continue the case, continue the case."
