STERLING HEIGHTS, Mich. — U.S. immigration officials have scheduled a ceremony Friday in suburban Detroit for a 111-year-old Iranian woman who is becoming a U.S. citizen.

The swearing-in ceremony is set for 2 p.m. at the Sterling Heights home of Warina Zaya Bahou.

U.S. Citizenship and Immigration Services spokeswoman Marilu Cabrera says Bahou was born in 1900 and will be the second-oldest person on record to be naturalized.
