Television news host Jose Diaz-Balart's new MSNBC show debuted Monday, but conservative pundit Ann Coulter has already criticized him for the way he presented an interview with an undocumented immigrant.

Jose Diaz-Balart, interviewed "Maria," a teenager who crossed the U.S. border after her brother was murdered by a Honduran gang, about her experience. Diaz-Balart, who is bilingual, live translated his questions in Spanish and her responses in English.

Diaz-Balart's new show will feature in-depth interviews with newsmakers, political commentators, and daily coverage on a variety of U.S. and international issues, according to MSNBC. He has 30 years of experience reporting in both English and Spanish.
