Paul Walker's "Fast & Furious" friends and co-stars, including Jordana Brewster and Tyrese Gibson, mourned his tragic death on social media Sunday, a day after the actor was killed in a fiery car crash in California.

Walker, 40, was reportedly riding shotgun in his friend's two-seater Porsche Carrera GT Saturday when the driver lost control and hit a post or a tree, according to TMZ. The car exploded, killing both passengers.

The "Fast & Furious" star, who had begun filming the movie's seventh installment in September, was in Santa Clarita for a car show organized by his charity, Reach Out Worldwide, to raise money for the Philippines typhoon relief effort.

Walker is survived by his 15-year-old daughter, Meadow.

News of the actor's death rocked Hollywood, most notably his close-knit group of "Fast & Furious" costars. Tyrese Gibson was even seen breaking down in tears Sunday at a memorial at the crash site.
