Hopefully he doesn’t try to cross the street.

That’s what some Internet commenters are saying about the bushy-tailed rodent known as Tippy the Fainting Squirrel whose videotaped antics have gone viral. The short clip shows the foraging squirrel tipping over time and time again, only to get up as if nothing happened.

E! Online reported, "Named 'Tippy' by the video’s poster, this little fellow does everything a normal squirrel does. He digs for grubs, forages for nuts and seeds, and frolics. Oh the frolicking! He also passes out like every 10 seconds while doing it. No big deal.”

Reddit has blown up with comments.

“He’s going nuts,” one wrote.

“It’s fine. It’s just smashed on fermented berries,” another wrote.

“I don’t know, it falls to the right every time and it looks like its muscles tense up and shake a little when it happens. I believe this is a neurological issue. Poor dude,” wrote a third.

Tippy was the subject of conversation on Twitter, too.

A video of Tippy was posted on YouTube Nov. 23 and already has been viewed more than 183,000 times.
