A Texas teacher accused of performing a birthday lap dance for a 15-year-old boy has been charged with having an improper relationship with a student.

Police say they have a videotape of Felicia Smith, 42, as she put a chair at the head of the classroom and proceeded to dance seductively for one of her male students as the rest of the class looked on during the Feb. 26 incident.

The Stovall Middle School teacher is accused of "rotating her buttocks against him and rubbing her hands all over his body," KHOU.com reported.

"Ms. Smith also got on her knees in front of him and placed her head between his legs," the station noted. "The student admitted that he slapped Ms. Smith on the buttocks a few times."

Officials also say Smith hugged the boy and whispered, "I love you baby. Happy birthday," in his ear after the dance.

Smith reportedly admitted to giving the boy a lap dance during an interview with police. She was charged and given a $30,000 bond.

"The teacher was removed from the campus during the investigation and has not returned," Aldine Independent School District said in a statement. "The district takes this allegation seriously and is fully cooperating with prosecutors. The safety and security of our students will continue to be a top priority in Aldine ISD."
