Speaker John Boehner might be telling his fellow Republicans to avoid outward celebrations next week if the Supreme Court rules against Obamacare, but that’s not stopping others who oppose the mandate from doing so.

The St. Louis tea party is planning an after party on the day of the ruling at Helen Fitzgerald’s, an Irish Pub. “Bring signage. We might have to take this one to the street!” its website said.

Dick Armey’s group FreedomWorks, behind protests when Congress was debating health reform in 2009, has scheduled a June 26 gathering at their D.C. headquarters ahead of the ruling, Politico reported.

“If the Supreme Court comes down on the side of liberty, then we’ll celebrate! If not, we promise to have ample food and libations to help you forget your worries,” the group wrote. “And if there’s no decision yet? Well . . . who really needs an excuse to get together anyway?”

Boehner warned Republicans in a memo against rubbing it in via celebrations.
"No one knows what the court will decide," Boehner wrote fellow Republicans. "But if the court strikes down all or part of the president's healthcare reform law, there will be no spiking of the ball."

The Tea Party Patriots, according to Politico, are asking members living within two hours of Washington to be “Tea Party Minute Men” and rally in front of the Supreme Court.
