Stephanie Seymour, the 45-year-old supermodel who graced the world's biggest runways in the 1980s and 1990s, has been selected by Estée Lauder to be the company's new face.
Seymour, a mother of four who's been featured in Vogue magazine, Victoria's Secret ads, and the Sports Illustrated Swimsuit Issue, will be showcasing the cosmetics company's upcoming global advertising campaigns, E! News reported
"I am honored to be part of the Estée Lauder family," Seymour said in a press release. "As a young girl my mother had a dream for me and that was to be an Estée Lauder model! So this is truly a dream fulfilled."

The San Diego-born brunette beauty has in the past modeled for such brands as Chanel, Versace and Marc Jacobs, E! News noted. Seymour has been modeling since 16 years of age.
In the same press release, Jane Hertzmark Hudis, Estée Lauder's global brand president, added, "Stephanie is the ultimate modern beauty icon. Beautiful and accomplished in fashion, entertainment and in life, I am thrilled to welcome her to Estée Lauder."
Past Estée Lauder's models include actresses Elizabeth Hurley and Gwyneth Paltrow, as well as Liu Wen, the company's from model from China.
Seymour, was formerly the girlfriend of Guns N' Roses frontman Axl Rose in the 1990s and starred in two music videos by the band, "Don't Cry" and "November Rain." The couple split in February 1993 after both Rose and Seymour accused each other of being physically abusive.
Stephanie is said to currently spend most her time between her homes in Connecticut and the Hamptons with her millionaire industrialist businessman husband Peter M. Brant. The couple has four children together.
