Sophia Grace Brownlee, the pint-size British rapper/singer who shot to YouTube stardom in 2011 with a cover of Nicki Minaj's "Super Bass," has released a music video for her first original song, "Girls Just Gotta Have Fun."

Brownlee, 10, and her little cousin Rosie McClelland, 8, began recording videos of cover songs that soon caught the attention of Ellen DeGeneres, who has since hosted the girls on her show several times.

But now Brownlee is venturing off on her own with her first original song and companion music video, which features the young girl riding around in a pink toy car, sitting in a pink throne, dancing with friends, and flirting with a boy. The music video, unveiled Friday on YouTube, has already drawn more than 1.6 million views, but some argue that the clip exploits the little girl and is too mature.

"This is SO messed up on SO many levels," one person wrote on the Huffington Post website. "She is 10 years old, and already being taught it's okay to 'party'!!! What in the HECK is she going to be like in a few years? I don't understand why parents allow their children to be exploited in this manner, unless all the parents are concerned about is that bank account!!! INEXCUSABLE!!!!!"

TooFab.com called the video "the most disturbing thing you'll watch today."

But others are defending Brownlee's music video.

"I don't think that these little girls are being exploited at all. I think the video was in good taste," another person commented. "It was just little kids having fun. They are dressed appropriately, not like all these 'Toddlers and Tiaras' kids. Now that's exploitative… I don't think that Ellen would have them on her show if she felt they were being exploited."

Here is Sophia Grace's original 2011 appearance on "The Ellen DeGeneres Show" that made her a YouTube star.
