Tennessee police are searching for a woman who stripped naked and went skinny-dipping in a man's swimming pool to divert his attention as her husband robbed his home last month.

Stephen Amaral, 54, of Crossville, Tenn., told officials a 30-something couple stopped by his home June 27 and asked if the woman could skinny-dip in his pool. While she swam naked in front of the distracted homeowner, her husband said he was going to get cigarettes.

In reality, the husband broke into Amaral's home and stole more than $1,000 in jewelry, cash, a handgun, and prescription drugs, ABC News reported.

"We've seen numerous distraction methods — asking for help looking for a dog, asking for help with gas for a stranded car and then people come back and find their home was burglarized," Crossville Police Department Det. J.C. Hancock told ABC News. "They just took it a new level using a naked woman. Every time I think I've seen it all, there's something new."

Amaral said he even offered the woman a towel 20 minutes later when she was done swimming.

"I went and got her a towel, she dried off and all of a sudden she was soaking wet again," he told Nashville's News 2. "I escorted her outside and invited her to church, but she said she didn't have time for that, she wasn't ready for that."

Amaral didn’t notice that anything was missing until after the couple left. Police are still searching for the alleged robbers.

"They cleared me out and I just feel violated," Amaral said.
