Former reality star Shayne Lamas, daughter of actor Lorenzo Lamas, has been released from a California hospital after losing her baby.
Lamas, who won the 12th season of the ABC reality series "The Bachelor," released a statement Thursday thanking fans for their support after she was rushed to the hospital due to a miscarriage, according to Us Weekly.
She is married to Nik Richie.

"Thank you for all your thoughts and prayers," Lamas, 28, said. "I've cried reading the expression of generosity and warmth from everyone. I'm out of ICU at Mission Viejo Hospital. I cannot thank the medical staff here enough for not giving up on me."
Lamas, who is the mother of two-year-old daughter named Press, also praised her family for their support.
"Thank you to my father and his wife, my mother, my sisters, my grandmother and New York family, my husband's family, and to my husband for never leaving my side," Lamas said. "Nik, your strength can never be measured. I love you."
Richie, founder of TheDirty.com, had been blogging about his wife's recovery on the site TabRag.com
"This has been the toughest week of my life, but my love for Shayne Lamas has grown tremendously," he wrote on Monday. "My wife is a true fighter. Her heart gave out on Valentine’s Day and we had to start the rehabilitation process all over again. Thank you to Dr. Marquez for saving Shayne’s life (again). Thank you to everyone for your thoughts and prayers – they are working!"
Lorenzo Lamas, a costar in the 1980s hit movie "Grease," told People magazine Feb. 10 that doctors were able to stabilize his daughter after miscarriage, refuting earlier reports that she was in a coma.
"We are so grateful that my daughter, Shayne Lamas-Richie, is conscious and stable. She is not in a coma, however she did miscarry the child she was carrying," Lorenzo Lamas said. "We are so very grateful to the hospital personnel and the doctors who saved her life last night."
Lamas won the 12th season of "The Bachelor" in 2008 and got engaged to Matt Grant at the end of the show, but the two lasted only two months after the finale aired.
