Senator George Allen of Virginia expressed his grief over the passing of House of Delegates Clerk Bruce F. Jamerson in a press release issued today.

Jamerson was the clerk of the Virginia House.

Senator Allen's press release reads:

“Bruce Jamerson was a smart, dedicated professional who loved his essential work in the Virginia House of Delegates. He led with dignity, fairness, and adherence to principles. I will be forever grateful and in admiration of his leadership through the years.

“Susan’s and my thoughts and prayers are with his wife Elizabeth and daughter Ainslie in this time of shock and grief.
“The beautiful restoration of Mr. Jefferson's Capitol should be a reminder to us all of Bruce Jamerson's positive impact in the course of Virginia history.”
