Actor Sean Penn became involved in a verbal altercation at Los Angeles International Airport recently with actress and former international beauty pageant queen Maria Conchita Alonso during which she says the actor called her a pig, to which she shot back accusing him of being a communist, reports WMAL.

“I’m not apologizing for calling him a communist because that is what he is,” Alonso told Steve Malzberg on WMAL.

Alonso, of "Predator 2" fame, previously tried to contact Penn through an open letter back in March of 2010, denouncing him for his support of Venezuelan President Hugo Chavez.

Alonso and Penn had the chance encounter after the airline lost both Penn’s and Alonso’s mother’s luggage.
