“Happy Days” are here again as Scott Baio and Garry Marshall briefly reunited on the Nickelodeon show “See Dad Run.”

Baio, who played Chachi Arcola on “Happy Days,” cast Marshall in a guest starring role as his father. Baio’s new show, in which he plays a stay-at-home dad, is filmed on the same Paramount stage as “Happy Days,” which Marshall, 78, created in 1974.

Baio said he owes a great deal to the actor, director and producer and the two have kept in touch over the years.

"I went, 'Wow, I don't know if he would do it, but I'd love have him on the show,'" Baio told The Hollywood Reporter. "I called up his office and asked him, and he said OK. And we thought it would be a great idea for his son Scott to direct the episode, and it all worked out."

Marshall quickly replied to the request.

“I have a policy: I answer calls from people who made me a hit,” Marshall told the Hollywood Reporter.

Baio said he owed a great deal to the living legend, who has directed films such as "Pretty Woman" and "The Princess Diaries."

"I am here because of him," Baio said of Marshall. "He taught me everything I know about television, and I owe him everything, so it's just one of the most gratifying things I've ever done."

Marshall said he’d love to be asked back.

"I'd do it again in a minute — it's a good show and it was a good time."

"See Dad Run," which is in its second season, airs at 8 p.m. Sundays on Nick at Nite.
