Sarah Palin may be interested in a hosting slot on “The View,” telling The Hollywood Reporter that she would be willing to “go rogue” and “knock some humble sense into their scripts.”
The former vice presidential hopeful said during an interview about her renewed Sportsman Channel “Amazing America” show that she’d be willing to take a look at hosting a political show. She zeroed right in on “The View.”

“I hear everyone recently got canned from 'The View,' maybe a show like that needs a punch of reality and a voice of reason from America's heartland to knock some humble sense into their scripts. You know, someone willing to go rogue,” Palin told The Hollywood Reporter.
Palin said she would only take on a political show with some guidelines in place.
"The politics would have to be interspersed with a whole lot of fun and real life and inspiration showcasing American work ethic, because those topics are all pretty much the antithesis of today's politics, which I find incorrigibly disastrous!” she said.
Predictably, the idea of Palin hosting "The View" received strong online responses.
“Although I lean left on the political spectrum I firmly believe that show needs a conservative or two to drown out, er, balance out, Whoopie and others like her. The show would be much more interesting with opposing views, especially views from a neo-con like Sarah Palin or someone of her ilk,” a commenter wrote on an Entertainment Weekly article
"I think Sarah Palin would be great! She is not scared to share her thoughts on issues and is a very accomplished person," wrote another at the Daily Caller
Many on the left spoke out against the idea, saying online they’d never watch “The View” again if Palin was on it. Others referred to the joke that’s haunted Palin since her failed vice presidential run.
"Palin on the View: 'I can see Russia from this couch! Also!'" an EW commenter wrote.
