Sandra Bullock, still riding the wave of her box-office smash "Gravity," and her 3-year-old son Louis stepped out over the weekend in matching skeleton costumes as they attended a Halloween party in Los Angeles.

Bullock, 49, went all out with a Dia de los Muertos-inspired costume and face makeup, while Louis opted for a more traditional black-and-white bones outfit.

Last year, the mother-son duo went trick-or-treating in matching "Toy Story" costumes, with Bullock as cowgirl Jessie and Louis as Buzz Lightyear. Bullock adopted the New Orleans-born boy in January 2010.

Bullock stars in "Gravity," the 3D space action thriller about two surviving astronauts attempting to get back to Earth after their Space Shuttle mission is aborted.

The film took the No. 1 box office spot for the third weekend in a row, raking in $31 million for a total of $170.6 million in 17 days, Entertainment Weekly reported.

The movie is already the 10th highest-grossing film of the year in the U.S.

Bullock's "Gravity" co-star George Clooney opened up recently about the actress as a single mother.

"She's a very good mom," Clooney told Us Magazine. "She takes very good care of Louis. But Louis does prefer a little man time in there.

"Sandy stayed at [my] house at [Lake] Como [in Italy] with Louis and with Alfonso [Cuaron, 'Gravity' director] and my friend, Rande Gerber. We had some very good man time — played a little basketball with Louis."
