Former American Idol winner Ruben Studdard said he is willing to lose as much of his 462 pounds as he can on NBC's "The Biggest Loser," as long as trainer Jillian Michaels does not touch his "taco meat."

Studdard was referring to his body hair, which Michaels took exception to during the premiere of "The Biggest Loser" on Tuesday, acccording to Yahoo! TV.

"We're going to have to wax that back of yours," Michaels tells Studdard on a clip from the series premiere, walking up to him to pull one of the strings. "Look at what you've got here; it's like an inch and a half."

"Let me tell you something. That's the real man in me," Studdard, a former college football player turn R&B crooner, told Michaels. "That's what's wrong. Y'all have womanized men. Back in the day, artists would have their taco meat showing on album covers and everybody liked it. Teddy Pendergrass. Marvin Gaye. Nobody don't want to show the taco meat no more. I'm bringing the real man back."

Later in the clip, Studdard said that he did not mind his body hair.

"Jillian is a hater," Studdard said in the clip. "I don't appreciate that. I think everything about Rueben Studdard is sexy."

In a separate clip from the show, according to Yahoo! TV, Studdard said he is determined to turn his life around physically and is committed to the diet and workout changes.

"The biggest takeaway I want from this experience is just how to be a better me," the singer said in "The Biggest Loser clip, according to Yahoo! TV. "I've already accomplished more in my life than I ever expected to . . . I said I wanted to be a national recording artist, and I did that. It took a lot of hard work. It took me 23 years to get there, but I got there. And after I got there, and after I got to that point, I started working with that, and not really taking care of (my body). I want to leave (the 'Biggest Loser' ranch) knowing they're both equally important."

Studdard beat out Clay Aiken to win Season 2 of the popular "American Idol" in 2003, earning the nickname the "Velvet Teddy Bear," according to E! News.
