The surest way for the Republican Party to win the White House is to launch an unrelenting assault on President Barack Obama’s liberal policies, Rush Limbaugh said today on his radio show.

“Everybody wants to know what do we do now, and what we do now is what we should be doing all along,” Limbaugh said. “The only thing that has ever had a chance . . . has been to make it about Obama — every day, in every which way possible — on issues, on Obama’s record, on the things he can’t defend. That’s what needs to happen — that’s what our chance is.”

He said liberalism is a “mess” and a “gigantic failure,” and the GOP must mount an “ideological campaign aimed at Obama.”

“The focus needs to be on Obama,” he said. “At the end of the day, Obama remains the target.

The White House is the ultimate political objective, and they don’t have a single thing they can defend. This is not 2008. The magic is gone.”
