Mike Malloy Fantasizes About Beheading Tea Party Members on Liberal Talk Radio

By Michael Mullins   |   Wednesday, 28 Nov 2012 09:22 AM

Controversial liberal radio talk show host Mike Malloy on Tuesday used his self-syndicated broadcast which is heard in 13 markets across the country to fantasize about the beheading of members of the tea party.

“These tea bag bas---ds, who by the way, I just wish they would all just go away, or like in Passover, I just wish there was an angel of the lord that would pass over but instead of killing the first born in all the households of Egypt, just wipe out all the tea-baggers. Just, you know, the terrible swift sword . . . (repeatedly makes sounds mimicking that of a sword slicing through the air) . . . Lop their heads off.”

The excerpt was first publicized by Brian Maloney of the Radio Equalizer blog.

Malloy, 70, who has been in radio since the mid-1980s, was formally a news writer for CNN in Atlanta from 1984 to 1987, and was a producer for CNN International in 2000. Having previously been carried by WSB-AM in Atlanta and WLS-AM in Chicago, Malloy was one of the original radio hosts on the failed liberal radio network “Air America.”

Malloy can currently be heard on Sirius and XM Satellite Radio.

On his website, Toledo, Ohio, describes himself as “a traditional liberal Democrat doing his part to return the party to its liberal roots.”

This isn’t the first time Malloy has made offensive remarks calling for and celebrating the deaths of conservatives.

Among his many diatribes, Malloy has said that he hoped conservative Glenn Beck would commit suicide on air, was happy that Andrew Breitbart was dead, and called media mogul Rupert Murdoch a Nazi.
