Princess Eugenie, the daughter of Duchess of York Sarah Ferguson and Prince Andrew, was spotted at a New York Knicks game over the weekend, but the royal didn’t seem too happy to be there.

The princess, 23, sat courtside with actress Michelle Trachtenberg but, as the Daily Mail notes, Eugenie appeared "somber" and "fidgety."

"While she was dressed impeccably in a chic embellished jumper, the royal appeared uncomfortable and out of place among the otherwise cheerful crowd at the game," the British tabloid reported.

The Mail attributed Princess Eugenie's mood to her being away from her family and long-term boyfriend, 27-year-old Jack Brooksbank. The royal moved to New York City over the summer to reportedly take a job with Paddle8, a Manhattan auction house.

Brooksbank commented on the long-distance relationship when he visited her back in October.

"We spend a lot of time on Skype," he told the Mail. "It's great. We are still very much together."

Though Princess Eugenie looked as though she didn't have any fun, a mid-game tweet from Trachtenberg told a different story. The former "Gossip Girl" star posted a photo of both girls' black booties on Twitter talking about how much fun they had.
