One lucky Powerball winner in Florida has won the lottery's estimated $148.8 million jackpot, bringing to an end one of the game's most memorable run-ups.
Michigan Live reported
the winning numbers for April 23 were 19, 25, 29, 36, and 48, with 12 rolling in as the Powerball red number and 4 as the Power Play number.

Three ticketholders across the U.S. matched five numbers, netting them a cool $1 million each in California, Colorado, and Maryland, while one ticket holder from Indiana matched the Power Play in addition to the five numbers and won $2 million.
The name of the jackpot winner was not revealed.
In total, there were 597,778 tickets that won more than $9.4 million in cash prizes across the multi-state contest.
The jackpot will reset to $40 million following Wednesday's big pay out.
In related Powerball news, Meri Kernen of Villisca in southwest Iowa recently claimed her $30,000 prize
after winning in the February 15 drawing, and told contest officials her four matching numbers were the birthdays of her family members.
"Both my daughters' birthdays and my oldest grandson's birthday were all that week and it just seemed to be the thing to do," Kernen told reporters. "Something just kind of told me I ought to do that."
Using a self-scanner at her local grocery store nearly a week after the drawing, the 63-year-old could hardly believe she won.
"I looked down and thought, 'Good grief, how many zeroes is that?' I wasn't sure whether to laugh or cry or jump up and down, or a little of each," she said.
She told lottery officials on April 8 while claiming her winnings that the money will be used to help her move from semi-retirement to full retirement.
