Fans of "Arrested Development" have been churning out the plastic surgery rumors about Portia de Rossi ever since the revival season of the hit show premiered on Netflix last week.

De Rossi, 40, debuted a very different look last week in the all-new "Arrested Development" episodes, which take place seven years after the series' original run on Fox ended in 2006. De Rossi, who plays the self-absorbed Lindsay Bluth, appeared to have had some work done.

Some fans even speculated that the jarring difference in her appearance may have been intentional, to possibly imply that her vain character Lindsay had a botched plastic surgery in the seven years between Seasons 3 and 4.

So far, de Rossi has stayed silent on the plastic surgery rumors, but a show source opened up about it to E! Online.

"She's absolutely not had plastic surgery," the source said. "Her character is clearly wearing a wig, which ended up altering her entire look."

The source said de Rossi credits her youthful appearance to her being a vegan for the last five years.
