Monday, 12 May 2014 05:09 PM

By Angela Deines

A Philadelphia man was killed in a peephole shooting this weekend, shot in the face as he went to look through a makeshift peephole when someone knocked on his door.

Police said family members at home at the time told them the 29-year-old victim, who hasn’t been identified by police, heard a knock at the door around midnight Sunday. He then reportedly looked through an improvised peephole at the side of his front door and was shot, dying of a single gunshot to the head, Reuters reported.
