Writer, model, and TV pundit Peaches Geldof was found dead Monday morning at age 25 at her Britain home, and police are calling her death “unexplained and sudden.”

Geldof was the daughter of musician and Live Aid organizer Bob Geldof and Paula Yates, who died of a drug overdose in September 2000.

Peaches Geldof was married to musician Thomas Cohen, and they have two young sons, who will turn 2 and 1 year old this month.

"We are beyond pain," Bob Geldof told BBC. "She was the wildest, funniest, cleverest, wittiest and the most bonkers of all of us."

"My beloved wife Peaches was adored by myself and her two sons," read a statement from Cohen, according to the BBC. "I shall bring them up with their mother in their hearts every day. We shall love her forever."

Peaches Geldof began writing an Elle magazine column when she was just 15 years old, and by 16, she had moved out on her own and wrote for other British publications like The Telegraph and The Guardian.

On Sunday, Peaches Geldof published a picture of Yates and herself on Instagram, simply writing “Me and my mum.” She was 11 years old when her mother died.

Hearing of her death, many wrote comments on the photo. “R.I.P peaches. You are reunited with your mother. My heart goes out to your family. Especially your sons. Forever young. Xxx,” one fan wrote.

In another Instagram picture of her young son looking at pictures of Geldof as a baby, a fan wrote, “Just like Peaches herself, her boys robbed of their mother so soon. Heartbreaking.”

English singer-songwriter Ellie Goulding tweeted first, “I don’t believe it,” then:
