Former Alaska Gov. Sarah Palin accused reporters Thursday of “prostituting themselves” to President Barack Obama by refusing to investigate what she said were “illegal” ties between his campaign and the super PAC Priorities USA.
Speaking to Fox News’ Sean Hannity, Palin also attacked the ad created by Priorities USA depicting Mitt Romney as responsible for the death of a woman as something “you wouldn’t wish on your worst enemy” and said Obama’s speeches on ethics and civility “are nauseating to me.”
“They're letting this go on — though it is illegal,” she said of reporters covering the Obama campaign. “It violates the PAC laws. What I would like to see happen is for just one reporter in the mainstream media who knows the truth about this to stand up.”

“Do the worthy and ethical thing and let Americans know that there was collaboration [on the ad], and also that this is a far-fetched, despicable ad that misrepresents [former Massachusetts] Gov. Romney’s position,” Palin added.
Palin said the media knows “the truth about this situation,” suggesting that there was collaboration on the ad between the Obama campaign and Priorities USA.
“I don’t know how they can sleep at night,” Palin continued. “They are the ones who . . . are basically prostituting themselves for a job, for interviews, for access to the Obama administration and the campaign.”
Palin, a tea party favorite and Fox News contributor, also hit at the president directly, accusing him of “disgusting” behavior for not denouncing the Priorities USA ad — which features a steelworker whose wife died of cancer after he lost his job and healthcare coverage because Romney’s firm Bain Capital closed the plant where he worked.
Republicans, and many in the media, have strongly criticized the ad, saying it basically accuses Romney of facilitating the woman’s death.
“You don’t wish that on your worst enemy,” Palin said, calling Obama the “leader of those unfair and disgusting attacks on people who he happens to politically disagree with. I think it’s disgusting.
“With all due respect to the office of the presidency, when I hear Barack Obama speak, at this point, especially when he lectures about ethics and civility, it is nauseating to me,” Palin added.
