For the second time in less than a week, Oregon prison officials are dealing with another escaped inmate.
Officials at the Deer Ridge facility near Madras in central Oregon Clinton discovered that Orvill Swearingen II, 31, was missing from the prison at about 10:30 p.m. on Sunday, Reuters reported

The search for him continued Monday.
Swerington began serving time for theft and burglary convictions in February and is set to be released — at the earliest — in December 2017.
Last Wednesday, Matthew Joseph Medlin, 30, a convicted sex offender, reportedly jumped a fence and escaped from the Columbia River Correctional Institution in Portland just days before he was set to be released according to Reuters. He was captured a short time later at a fast food restaurant and now faces additional charges.
Both the Deer Ridge and Columbia River facilities are minimum security.
"Of course we are concerned that this is the second inmate escape," Betty Bernt, Oregon Department of Corrections communications manager, told Reuters. "Both incidents will receive a thorough review by DOC, as well as a state police investigation. All security protocols will be scrutinized."
