Newsbusters' Sheppard: Liberal Comedians Beginning to Take Jabs at Obama

Thursday, 12 Sep 2013 04:25 PM

By Bill Hoffmann

Liberal comedians are beginning to turn on President Barack Obama for proposing a military strike on Syria, according to Noel Sheppard, associate editor at Newsbusters.

Sheppard tells "The Steve Malzberg Show" on Newsmax TV he was surprised to see a fake ad made by the legendary Second City comedy troupe asking for support to launch World War III.

Story continues below video.

The ad is supposedly produced by "The AMERICANS FOR WHATEVER BARACK OBAMA WANTS, did you know he's friends with Jay-Z?"

"It's really, really well done stuff. It's absolutely brilliant and shocking, again, coming from a comedy troupe that one has to believe is quite liberal," said Sheppard, whose web site analyzes liberal media bias.

"So if they're seeing the hypocrisy of the Obamabots marching us to war, it's pretty extraordinary."

Sheppard added that NBC's Jay Leno has been taking decidedly more pointed jabs at the Obama administration.
