An 8,000-square-foot apartment with the highest outdoor space in any New York City residence is hitting the market for $100 million, making it the most expensive apartment in the country, according to the New York Daily News.

The apartment even has a celebrity connection: the triplex, wraparound penthouse on W. 56th Street is being listed by Raphael De Niro, the son of actor Robert De Niro, the Daily News reported.

The penthouse takes up the 73rd through 76th floor at CitySpire , which is owned by real estate developer Steven Klar.

The unit is a "one-of-a-kind gem [that] ranks amongst the most elite homes in America," according to the Prudential Douglas Elliman listing, the Daily News reported.

Its architect, Juan Pablo Moyneux, included inlaid marble floors, stately columns, gold draperies and chandeliers, a private, three-story elevator, a wrap-around terrace on all three floors, a dining room that can seat 20, and a wine room that can hold more than 1,000 bottles, according to the Daily News.
