The "most desirable woman" of 2014 is 26-year-old English actress Emilia Clarke, according to AskMen.com
The rising Hollywood star, who is best known for her role in the HBO series "Game of Thrones" where she plays an exiled princess with three pet dragons, knocked Jennifer Lawrence out of the top spot this year in a poll that featured more than one million votes being cast around the globe, NBC's Access Hollywood reported
Clarke was followed on the list by Alison Brie, of the NBC sitcom "Community," and Emilie Ratajkowski of the Robin Thicke music video "Blurred Lines." Jennifer Lawrence, of "The Hunger Games" fame who was last year's No. 1 most desirable women on the list, fell to the No. 4 spot, while English actress Emma Watson, known primarily for her role in the "Harry Potter" film series, took the No. 5 spot. With the exception of Brie, the top five women on the list were all under 24 years of age.

"Sixty-five women made their debut on the Top 99 Most Desirable Women list this year," James Bassil, publisher of AskMen, told Access Hollywood. "Margot Robbie (No. 9) is probably the most surprising of the rookies, given that she came out of the clear blue sky to land in the top ten on the list."
Miley Cyrus, who made a great deal of news in 2013 for her sexually suggestive performances, barely made the list, coming in at No. 99. Cyrus' placement was at least in part determined by the online magazine's editorial staff Bassil admitted, who appeared not to appreciate her risqué behavior over the past 12 months.
"We ask both the readers and the staff to take more than just sex appeal into account. We ask them to consider all the character traits they would look for in a significant other, including personality, ambition, talent, and potential for the year ahead," Bassil told Access Hollywood. "From our point of view, the fact that Miley made the list, and the slot that she finished in, really speaks to this diverse criteria. Within the content team, we didn't think that she deserved to make the list at all, and we voted accordingly."
"Don't get me wrong, we do think that she's attractive, ambitious and talented; we also think she will have a big year in 2014. However, she seems thrives on bad publicity and polarizing behaviors, and this is deeply undesirable," Bassil added.
Other notable mentions in the top ten were model Kate Upton at No. 6, actress Kerry Washington at No. 7, the fiery redheaded actress Amy Adams at No. 8, and 40-year-old model Kate Moss, who rounded out the top 10 with her size zero frame.
