Miss USA Nana Meriwether has a huge crush on Prince Harry and professed her love for him this week, joking that the two are "meant to be."

Meriwether gushed about the possibility of meeting the Prince at a fundraising reception in his honor held at New York City's Four Seasons Restaurant Tuesday.

"He is doing a wonderful job of representing your country here," Meriwether told the U.K. newspaper, The Telegraph. "Miss USA is like royalty in the states, so I am really hoping to meet him."

Meriwether, 27, a 6-foot-tall former volleyball star, was excited to hear that Prince Harry, 28, is taller than her, standing at 6-foot-2.

"Perfect!" she told reporters. "He is single, right? Well so am I. Wouldn’t it be wonderful is we got married? We are meant to be."

In reality, the Prince is said to be dating dance student Cressida Bonas, 24.

Unfortunately, Meriwether didn’t get a chance to meet her crush, as the Prince was reportedly swarmed by the more than 200 guests.

Celebrities including Will.i.am and John Lennon's son Sean also attended the reception thrown by the American Friends of The Royal Foundation of The Duke and Duchess of Cambridge and Prince Harry.
