Michael Douglas and Catherine Zeta-Jones appear to be working on their shaky marriage and were spotted around New York with their children and, notably, wearing their wedding rings, Yahoo's omg! reports
The two said in August that they were “taking some time apart to evaluate and work on their marriage,” and that time apart seems to be working as they took their kids, Dylan 13, and Carys, 10, out to eat and to a Broadway matinee. They also saw the latest Hobbit movie.

The fact that the two spent time together for an entire weekend isn’t completely a surprise, as Douglas has been making subtle comments that the two may reconcile. In an interview about his role as Liberace in “Behind the Candelabra,” he told GQ magazine “I hope to resolve my marriage in a positive fashion.”
Douglas, 69, has had a rough few years, battling tongue cancer and his son Cameron going to jail for dealing drugs. Zeta-Jones, 44, also has struggled, going into treatment for bipolar II disorder.
The two have been married for 13 years. In the past few months, the couple spent some time together, trick or treating with their children for instance, that same month Douglas told reporters while he was promoting his film “Last Vegas” that “things are great. Onward and upward,” Yahoo's omg! said.
Zeta-Jones went public with her bipolar disorder in 2011, and told InStyle
in December 2012 that things were looking up.
“I’m not the kind of person who likes to shout out my personal issues from the rooftops,” she said. “But with my bipolar becoming public, I hope fellow sufferers will know it’s completely controllable. I hope I can help remove any stigma attached to it.”
