After 25 seasons in the same green dress, Marge Simpson will soon get a makeover thanks to the designers from the Lifetime fashion design show, "Project Runway."

On Thursday night's episode, the all-star contestants were challenged to create a look for Simpson to wear for a fancy dinner date on the show's upcoming 25th anniversary episode.

"Normally I have one simple fashion philosophy. Find a dress that looks good on you and wear it every day for the rest of your life," Simpson said in a video explaining the task to the designers. Her main caution: "No green! ... Also, there might be some snuggling after dinner, so Homer requests that the dress be easy enough to remove after he’s had several glasses of wine and a secret six pack of beer."

Host Alyssa Milano, judge and designer Isaac Mizrahi, and three guest judges — designer Stacey Bendet, actress Abigail Breslin, and last season's "Project Runway: All Stars" winner Anthony Ryan — were responsible for choosing the winning look. Ultimately, they were blown away by Irina Shabayeva's eggplant purple frock.

"I'm really happy with my look," the season six winner said after her dress was named the favorite. "I feel like it's a big anniversary so she's going to want to wear something spectacular."

The judges were less impressed with season three winner Jeffrey Sebelia's tight, futuristic gown and he was eliminated.

"I think that you are having a problem finding this muse and finding who you are at this moment," Mizrahi said to Sebelia. "There's something about this fabric that works against you."

"Project Runway: All Stars" airs Thursdays at 9 p.m. EST on Lifetime.
