"Real Housewives of Beverly Hills" star Lisa Vanderpump and husband Ken Todd denied any wrongdoing in connection with a lawsuit filed against them in Los Angeles County Superior Court on Wednesday.
Entrepreneurs Ryan Allen Carrillo and Andrew Gruver charged in the lawsuit that they partnered with Elie Samaha to open a sports-themed gay bar and restaurant called Bar Varsity.

The reality show star and her husband issued a statement after the story initially broke, stating that they did know about the circumstances involving other claims to the property and entered into their lease agreement "in good faith."
"We had no prior knowledge of Ryan Carrillo and Andrew Gruver or their claim," Vanderpump and Todd said, wrote The Wrap. "We took the lease in good faith seven months ago and all of our applications and notices have been posted publicly. Any issue will be between them and the property owner."
The lawsuit is claiming, though, that the couple did know about a previous Bar Varsity contract and "intended to disrupt the performance of the Agreement," wrote The Wrap.
Carrillo and Gruver are demanding a temporary restraining order and injunction blocking further construction work on the P.U.M.P. Lounge, plus "[r]estitution to plaintiffs and disgorgement of all ill-gotten gains by Defendants."
Vanderpump co-owns two Los Angeles-area restaurants, Villa Blanca, a celebrity hangout, and SUR in West Hollywood.
The "Real Housewives of Beverly Hills" website
said Vanderpump has taken charge directly in redesigning SUR. Vanderpump and her husband own 26 restaurants total between Los Angeles and London.
"SUR stands out for its sexy atmosphere and backstage fireworks," stated the Housewives website. "Lisa constantly tries to instill her values of hard work and professionalism to the SUR staff, who view her as a tough but caring mentor. Still, everyone knows that when a server crosses the line, Lisa's unafraid to crack the whip ... or hand out the pink slip."
