Oprah doesn't handle Lindsay Lohan with kid gloves in a preview of the mogul's interview with the troubled actress, asking Lohan, “Are you an addict?” and “What does it feel like to be both an adjective and a verb for child star gone wrong?”

Lohan’s answers weren’t released. For those, you’ll have to tune into "Oprah’s Next Chapter" on Aug. 18 on OWN, which also will follow the former child star for an eight-episode docu-series.

Lohan, whose career has been marred by drug and alcohol abuse, completed a 90-day, court-ordered rehab stint last week.

Lohan filled in Monday night for host Chelsea Handler on the show "Chelsea Lately." The Hollywood Reporter said the host "appeared at ease as she laughed off lighthearted jokes at her own expense and even made a few jabs at herself."

Lohan had to go into rehab as part of her sentencing for a June 2012, car crash. E! News reported that Lohan started her treatment at the Betty Ford Center in Rancho Mirage but later switched to Cliffside Malibu about 100 miles northwest of the desert facility.

The 27-year-old "Freaky Friday" star most recently appeared on Fox’s "Glee" and FX’s "Anger Management" with Charlie Sheen. She is set to co-star in the film "The Canyons."

TMZ says Lohan has vowed to steer clear of booze everywhere she goes and has demanded that hotel rooms, dressing rooms, and even her mother’s house be alcohol-free when she’s around.

She has also agreed to travel with a sobriety coach, at least for the next week.

Lohan’s mom, Dinah, has promised to serve as her daughter’s mentor as she tries to get her life back together.
