Actress Linda Cardellini has moved on from her cheating role on “Mad Men” and will join Fox’s “New Girl” in the new year.

After netting an Emmy nomination for her recurring role as Don Draper’s guilty love affair, Cardellini told The Hollywood Reporter that she’s ready to be back in a comedy. She’ll play the role of Jess’ sister Abby on "New Girl."

As news of her upcoming role spread online, talk turned to what Cardellini’s role as the wild sister will do to the show. Popculturology scanned the actress’ resume and decided there’s a good chance she’ll be there to break up Jess and boyfriend Nick.

Warning Jess to “beware,” Popculturology said, “Besides her Freaks and Geeks role, Cardellini was probably best known for playing the girl who broke up Cory and Topanga on ‘Boy Meets World.’ When the actress first appeared on ‘Mad Men’ last season, I made a joke about how she would break up Don and Megan, and — SPOILER ALERT — look who went and had an affair with Don.”

THR said it’s expected Cardellini’s recurring appearance on the show won’t begin airing until February.

In a previous Hollywood Reporter article, Cardellini talked to the magazine about her “Freaks and Geeks” show and how much she enjoyed playing Lindsay Weir at the beginning of her career.

“We all had such an incredible time, and it was really a special moment in all of our lives — especially at the beginning of our careers. We were really the underdog of the network. We were the freaks and geeks of TV, and I think we were very proud of what we were doing,” she told THR. “I don’t think you can ever plan for people loving something like that.”
