Rush Blasts Obama for Not Answering Tea Party Question

President Barack Obama and his “magical misery tour” mishandled an improvisational moment Monday when a tea party leader started shouting questions at him during a town-hall meeting in Iowa, and he wouldn't publicly answer, radio host Rush Limbaugh said Tuesday.
“The props are talking back,” Limbaugh said, likening the town-hall meeting to a movie set. “That’s why Obama knows that movies are better than real life.”

The question Iowa Tea Party Patriots founder and Chairman Ryan Rhodes posed to the president was, “How will we come together when your vice president is calling us terrorists?”

Great question, as Vice President Joe Biden “did call them terrorists,” Limbaugh said.

“Why is he riding around in this hearse having open town-hall meetings if he’s not going to take questions from the audience?” Limbaugh asked, referring to the president’s campaign bus as “the largest armored hearse in history.”

He blasted Obama for not addressing Rhodes’ question in public. They did speak after the meeting, when the president said he hadn't seen Rhodes when he raised the question.

For his part, Rhodes said later during an interview with Fox News that the  president denied Biden had made the comment, which was reported to have happened in a private meeting with Democrats during the debt ceiling impasse late last month.

“He just denied it. He said the vice president didn't make any of those assertions,” Rhodes said. “If he doesn’t want to even admit what was on TV nationally — all over the place — then how can you have a conversation?”
