Down by 10 points in the fourth quarter of an NBA championship elimination game, defending champion Miami Heat needed a jolt.
When the Heat's best player, LeBron James, decided to ditch his headband after it was knocked off his head
, Miami turned the deficit into a 103-100 overtime victory over the San Antonio Spurs, forcing a dramatic Game 7 in Miami on Thursday, The Associated Press reported.
Coincidence? Many fans and commentators think not. James' headband received as much attention as his 32 points, 10 rebounds and 11 assists that led the Heat to victory.
