A lamb with seven legs was born in January in Chifeng, Inner Mongolia.
According to United Press International, the seven-legged lamb
, which has two hind legs and five front legs, is able to stand on its own and drink milk.

The lamb’s owner, farmer Wang Jingfeng, has said he won’t remove the extra legs, which vary in length, since the lamb can walk with them.
About one in 7 million lambs are born with extra limbs, caused by abnormal embryo growth, UPI said.
The lamb was born on Jan. 28, according to GB Times

That lamb was expected to be euthanized because of health issues, which included missing a portion of its bowel. Veterinarian Steve Williams said keeping it alive would be inhumane, according to The Telegraph.
