The lamb’s owner, farmer Wang Jingfeng, has said he won’t remove the extra legs, which vary in length, since the lamb can walk with them.

About one in 7 million lambs are born with extra limbs, caused by abnormal embryo growth, UPI said.

The lamb was born on Jan. 28, according to GB Times, and appears healthy.

In 2007, a lamb with seven legs was born in New Zealand, The Telegraph reported.

That lamb was expected to be euthanized because of health issues, which included missing a portion of its bowel. Veterinarian Steve Williams said keeping it alive would be inhumane, according to The Telegraph.

Last year, a lamb with five legs was born in France, according to The Daily Mail.
